Oddpodz citizen, Oliver, wants everyone to weigh in on his question:
Am I uncool if I don’t care about trends?
IMHO, most of what experts spot as trends are just fads, and I’d rather just do my own thing.

Yes, of course you’re uncool by someone’s standards. The question is, whose standards do you care about?
i don’t think you are lame if you don’t follow trends. I read stuff and see what’s new, but I don’t live and die by them. I do my own thing and pick and choose things that I like. What is lame is adopting every new trend, then you look just like everyone else. how boring is that. plus, some ‘trend’ experts should revisit their last predictions…sometimes right on, sometimes WAY off. So, that’s all i have to say about that.
Who do you consider as an expert? You should be your own expert, your own trendsetter!
